New update!


Hoo boy! Hurray for working in RPG Maker again!

Yes, I haven’t really been working on MAEG. What was done was lost when I was getting my SSD installed in my computer, I still have plans and ideas for it but its going to take a lot more time and a team. The later I’m working on obtaining.

So for now enjoy this polish update!

  • Massively improved the Water Room puzzle; the switches give feedback now, you can’t cheese the puzzle as easily anymore and there’s a 5 minute “Would you like to skip this?” timer built into the puzzle, it only costs 2000 tokens and your pride!

  • Fixed the rats that gave you a fake game over screen, they now all just have a black out with Sound Effects. Too many people were f12ing when they really didn’t need to.

  • Changed the attack animation of Backup Bash, Spread Bombs, and the gauntlets.

  • Added in a few missed VA lines.

  • General game balance and bug fixes, such as:

    • Nerfed the Weapon Holster again. Hopefully this will be the last.

    • Made the secret chapter common enemies easier.

    • Fixed an exploit with the Mana and Health Buffer abilities that gave you infinite Mana.

  • Fixed a tile in the second vents puzzle that trapped you.

  • Spruced up the introduction to the jumping tiles in the second vent puzzles.

  • Among various other changes that I made but completely forgot about! :D
