Hoo boy! Hurray for working in RPG Maker again!
Yes, I haven’t really been working on MAEG. What was done was lost when I was getting my SSD installed in my computer, I still have plans and ideas for it but its going to take a lot more time and a team. The later I’m working on obtaining.
So for now enjoy this polish update!
Massively improved the Water Room puzzle; the switches give feedback now, you can’t cheese the puzzle as easily anymore and there’s a 5 minute “Would you like to skip this?” timer built into the puzzle, it only costs 2000 tokens and your pride!
Fixed the rats that gave you a fake game over screen, they now all just have a black out with Sound Effects. Too many people were f12ing when they really didn’t need to.
Changed the attack animation of Backup Bash, Spread Bombs, and the gauntlets.
Added in a few missed VA lines.
General game balance and bug fixes, such as:
Nerfed the Weapon Holster again. Hopefully this will be the last.
Made the secret chapter common enemies easier.
Fixed an exploit with the Mana and Health Buffer abilities that gave you infinite Mana.
Fixed a tile in the second vents puzzle that trapped you.
Spruced up the introduction to the jumping tiles in the second vent puzzles.
Among various other changes that I made but completely forgot about! :D
