Difficulty modes have been added and can now be accessed through the options, there are 5 difficulties.
Innocent difficulty: there is a 75% chance to not take damage after being hit.
Human difficulty: The standard difficulty, essentially what the damage values originally were.
Murderer difficulty: The KR per hit is now 2 instead of 1.
Genocide difficulty: The KR per hit is now 3 instead of 1 or 2.
Dusttrust Difficulty: The KR per hit is now 4 instead of 1 or 2 or 3.
Additionally, there are now hidden messages in the news with clues on how to solve them.
The game-over music will pitch down the further in the game the phase/part is.
