New version for a new year ;)

Since this was my first game I’ve finished (at work or by myself), I’ve decided that it should also be the first game for me to (re)release in the new year. It just seemed as the right thing to do, you know, karma and stuff.

So, here it is. I’ve done a bit of graphical updates to make it look less as a “first game ever” and more like a finished product. It turned out okay, I guess - I’m a programmer after all, not an artist type. ;)

Under the hood, I’ve hooked up the GameJolt API, so the game now uses the site’s leaderboards instead of the built-in ones. In the nearest future I’m also planning to add some achievements, because you all know that Tetris needs some of these.

After that I’ll also release the ImpactJS API plugin, so people don’t have to do it all from scratch - and there isn’t any Javascript implementations of the API, so it should be useful.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.
