Hi everyone! Sorry about the lack of updates on here. The game is still being worked on.. kinda.. I’ve been busy with personal life stuff lately..
Anyways, let’s get to the point. I posted this on the discord server yesterday (which you can join here: https://discord.gg/drrrvj2) and since I haven’t updated the gamejolt page in 2 months, i’ll share it with you all!

So.. Remember when you got lost on the world map in MLP RPG 1 and 2?
Well.. Thanks to a new world map concept, you can say good-bye to that in MLP RPG 4!!
Introducing the “Course Selection” system
It’s similar to Super Mario Bros. 3 course selection. For example: https://imgur.com/UyaFWpl
here you can see the unlocked courses on this image.. After completing an event or reaching the end of an area, you’ll unlock the next area.

You’ll see that this area is called “Everfree Forest Area 1” This means you’ll have to reach the end of this area and you’ll unlock “Everfree Forest Area 2” You can also use the time in between areas to resupply items or buy more perks ect.
This may make the game somewhat linear, but hey look on the brightside, no more getting lost!
