New worldmap graphics

At long last, the worldmap graphics have been greatly improved! The map layout changed just a tiny bit, but no one’ll probably notice.

I’ve also overhauled the camera/ background scrolling system which took longer than expected. Unfortunately I’ve decided to wait with publishing the next version of the game. There’s not much more left to do, so I might as well make the next release a full release instead of a WIP.

Thanks for reading, and stay tuned!

I've added new enemies to dungeons 6 and 7, so they're now 100% done besides some polishing and bg graphics. This enemy is based on a well-known franchise, can you guess which one?

A floating dungeon high up in the sky... wind themed, of course.

I had this planned many years ago, so it's exciting to finally design it.

I redrew the main character (totally not Link)! Apparently, I drew the old sprite around 2009, so it was definitely time to update his looks.

I've redesigned some of the early game enemies, which means the game no longer has "borrowed" graphical assets. I'll release a demo with these changes and more next week.

New patch 1.9.0 includes an options menu allowing you to change controls, lower the difficulty and more! I've also added enemy healthbars, an extra keybind, improvements to controls and other minor fixes.

After many monotonous & tedious hours, I've converted the game to 60 fps! This version (1.7.0) also includes some minor physics improvements and bugfixes. Enjoy!

Since Legend of Hilda got a much-needed QoL update I figured it's only fair to do the same for this game. The update's not quite done yet, but it will feature an extended options menu and some combat improvements. It'll hopefully be ready next week.

Good news: I recently discovered a project called GM8.2 Core that fixes a lot of issues with old Game Maker, which my games are based on. This means that I'm finally able to add gamepad support(!), along with other neat stuff.

Forgot to post this on Halloween, but I made a teaser for the Black Temple, a spooky late-game dungeon.

The world map's layout is now 100% done! Besides that I'm working on a new update that'll add more options to the game like rebinding keys.
