So, you've probably noticed that Bugeon Masters, my planned insectoid RPG, is not shown on the side of my page, nor the side of my community's front-frontpage. Furthermore, most posted content related to it is gone from my page and such as well. Well, I've come to explain that, and the reason is quite shocking, really. /sarcasm
I've been demotivated to work on games in general. Yep, that's it. That's the entirety of it. No forty-page essay going over a few reasons here, folks. So, I canned Bugeon Masters for the time being, and I'm deciding not to work on a game at all for as long as I need to until I'm motivated once more. I estimate this may take two to three months, perhaps lasting even a year if needed. But, once I'm ready again, if I ever am, expect to see Hinterhof once more, and expect to see a little wizard return from the ruins of Skylands, prepared for their own *garand* game of theirs...
Don't worry now, I'm still gonna be online, making art and such, etc. I'm not gonna be making music no more, though. In fact, trying out composing was really more of a test in my eyes, and that test told me countless times I needed to work on my dissonance and such. Furthermore, I might decide to be active on Scratch again... Yes, I did quit Scratch at some point, that point being when Bugeon Masters began development and I deleted practically all my old projects from 2020 to January 2025 and such, and even then I still partially used vanilla Scratch for a bit of it. Anyhow, I might make some neat little game engine on Scratch, which'll most likely be used for the priorly mentioned wizard's game. And before you say it, no, making an engine on Scratch is not entirely game development. In fact, I'd say it's more so programming in general.
Now then, with all that being done and said, until then, people. Goodnight... Since it's 7:36 PM CST where I am, and I probably won't be posting anything else after this for today.
