Greetings Comrade! And welcome to Cirnograd, the fourth town in the game and pivotal to episode 4.
HISTORY
It all started when Cirno discovered the writings of Karl Marx, after declaring herself as a Communist and seeing the abuses of the fairies of Gensokyo started a party with the aim of liberating the fairies from their youkai and human oppressors. This was initially laughed off but when Cirno ordered a “Worker’s Action” and almost the entirety of the Scarlet Devil Mansion staff (mostly fairies who worked as maids) walked off the job. The Gensokyoians began to worry. Then Cirno seized a radio station in the village were the tengus lived on Youkai Mountain, started calling for all the fairies to unite together and fight off the bourgeoisie youkai and imperialist humans in a glorious revolution. Cirno then gave Remiu Hakurei her ultimatum; either fight her and bog down Gensokyo into guerrilla warfare or leave the fairies alone. Reimu’s first instinct was to go fight the revolutionaries but was stopped by a ghost who recently came to Gensokyo. The ghost told Reimu the horrors of fighting a guerrilla war against people who would die for their beliefs. Reimu and the ghost talked and Reimu backed down. But Reimu did tell Cirno that she should leave, Cirno agreed and made a radio broadcast declaring that all fairies should leave Gensokyo, over 60% of the fairy population left to follow Cirno. To this day, Gensokyo is still in a labor shortage were the need for unskilled and generalist workers surpasses the supply and is part of the reason why some Touhou characters left to go to the place where “Tales of Your” takes place. Cirno stopped in a snowy northern land and said “Daiyousei, you’re the rock that I shall build a worker’s paradise.” To this day Team (9) work together forming the Government and Politburo of Cirnograd.
THINGS TO DO
There’s an inn where you could heal your party for 50 DP and an item shop that sells: Antidote, Stimulant, Magic Water, and Repellant (The fact there’s no potions available is due to a shortage [Not caused by Cirno’s government and economic planing, its just Reisen screwing things up]).
There’s the NKVD office, where you can get a badge to work as an NKVD officer (In order to advance the plot of course). There you can buy armor that’s a slightly better than the the tier 2 armor in Barnstable BUT increase resistance from Ice attacks, lessening its damage.
The People’s Palace of Properity also doubles as a gym (but you’ll have to wait for season 3 to be made [I.E. the finished game]).
