THE STORY 2: Deception Big plans, big changes
We are aware of your disappointment and we understand that you counted on a stable game with stable and balanced gameplay. And we know that it's already too late and you didn't get the experience you wanted. But still, we want to make a game that is enjoyable for the majority. That's why we are announcing two big updates:
-An update called Deception 2.0
-DLC for the game
Deception 2.0 is the first thing we'll focus on. 2.0 will have reworked gameplay, voice acting, and we will update and optimize the code. Some levels will have new objectives that will make the game more fun to play. A lot of voice lines will be re-recorded. We will add cleaner dialogues. Some cutscenes will get an upgrade so it's not just looking at the environment with dialogue in the background.
DLC
The DLC will include a new ending. We already have some ideas for it but we will keep our plans secret for now. Because of the huge steps we'll be taking in improving Deception, we're forced to postpone development of the Pillars of Silence remake, which is the next game on our road map ~ False Animatronics
