Dear all,
First, I want to say thank you, again, for your support of the game. I value you attention and interest a lot.
After taking some time to calmly think about this, I believe that this game concept has the potential to become a full featured game. I’m still a one man team backed by a group of friends, but I believe that I can put together a short but well-done adventure game within some months, and push it to a curated store like Steam. I am already writing that game, studying technologies that will make my job easier, and planning its execution. This will be my main job for the next months.
I have published other small games that I need to maintain, and I and my group still want to finish -and publish- the first level of Maxxima, a shmup that we have left on hibernation at the beginning of this year. But the new game based on Turing Adventure is going to be my main project.
That means that I am not going to push any new version of the current Turing Adventure implementation in GameJolt, which is going to be left as-is.
Nevertheless, I still need people (as many people as I can manage to attract), to play early versions of the new game, and fine-tune the conversations with the different game character that you will encounter during the game. I will try to set up some early access system for that purpose, and GameJolt could very well function as a test bed for that. Of course, if I am successful in this endeavor, I’ll make sure that those helping me will get a free copy of the game, or at least as cheap as I can manage.
Expect more news in the coming weeks. Thank you for making this possible.
