So, the game isn't quite as big as i'd hoped for, But i'm really happy with how it turned out.

Act 3 will be a much more, contained/smaller game, with less environmental work, so i'll have more time for Lore Notes, Voice Logs, ETC, More info about it coming sometime Next Year.

For now, i'll be working on the Updates i mentioned, then focus on my Ghost Hunting Game.

If there's any parts of the game you don't like, Let me know, and i'll look into it for the next update!

Was Anything Cut?

Yup, 1 Animatronic, and 30-ish minutes of gameplay, Not due to time issues though, due to bad mechanics, and boring Gameplay. the Animatronic being Music Men that would appear on the Cameras, and disable them, eventually knocking your power out. But with how many Camera Animatronics there are, it wouldn't be very fun, imo. And Gameplay mainly being Nightmare Sequences, a Chase Sequence in Night 3, and a Vent Section in Night 4

Development went way faster on Night 3 - 6 than 1 and 2, What happened?
From March, to the end of October, I was working a full time job, 4 - 6 days a week, 10 hours a day. (which was NOT worth it lol)
I didn't have time to work on the game as much as Act 1,
And, I always try to make Gameplay Systems that can be used in multiple places, without having to remake them, I.E, Animatronic A.I is the same across all levels, etc.
So that took a lot of time as well.

So after i left that job, i've been working on aftermath 7 days a week, 9 - 13 Hours a day. (And somehow I'm not burnt out yet..)

What's New?

  • Night 3: ~ 40 Minutes

  • Night 4: ~ 20 Minutes

  • Night 5: ~ 15 Minutes

  • Night 6: ~ 20 Minutes

  • Extras: up-to 30 Minutes

  • 2 New Collectables, 1 Lore Note, 7 New Environments,
    (2 Pre-made, But Heavily Edited, And used for the Shortest Sections of the game, Less than 5 Minutes combined)

  • Replaced Multiple Environmental assets & Textures, Floors and walls are no longer just Flat/Cartoonish textures

  • Added Extra details to All In-PizzaPlex Levels.

  • added extra detail to the 2nd Floor of the Atrium.

  • Graphics Settings Menu rework.

  • Audio Settings Added.

  • Added Animations to all Settings Menus.

  • Optimized Animatronic Models,
    Previous Triangle Avg: 100K At LOD 1 | New Avg, 40K at LOD 1, Jumpscare models ~100K at LOD 0

  • Optimized Death Screen Models.

  • Fixed 4K Resolution Setting, Previously would set to 1440P instead of 4K.

  • Increased some Texture Resolutions to 2K & 4K.

  • New Intro Video.

  • Made Roxy Glossy.

  • Fixed missing mip maps for Blue/Party Tables, FFMPP Logo Decal, Clean Checkerboard Floor Tiles, And More.

  • Night Shift player Animations now play 10% Faster, and you can now move as soon as an Animation ends instead of having a 1 Second Delay. Making dealing with more Animatronics Easier, and quicker.

  • In the Night shift, when looking at direction, you can now let off look a key and look press a different look key, and you'll look that way when the previous Animation Ends.

    I.E: While look left, you can let off the A Key, and hold D to instantly look Right

  • Point & click Animations now must fully play before they can be reset, preventing Stuck animations

  • You can no longer Spam animations on point & click sections, Animations should no longer bug out, or combine either.

  • Camera Static and 'Cam Switch Sounds' now play from the Monitor instead of 2D


    Here's new Changes to Night 1 + 2

  • Re-made the Escalator Textures, Now having a proper Metallic Texture to them instead of looking Cartoony/Out of place

  • Made the Lobby Wall Textures Brighter.

  • Fixed Z Fighting in the Night 1.

  • Removed a Note from Night 2, will be added back in a Later Night.

  • Fixed Misplaced Models in The Atrium & Lobby.

  • Fixed Photobooth models being slightly Clipping into the floor

  • Night 2, Extended sound cues for Picking up & Placing Plushies to help avoid confusion/players thinking it's bugged.

    IF YOU GOT EARLY ACCESS, HERE'S WHAT'S NEW:

  • Moon, Chica, Monty can no longer attack at the same time

    Foxy will no longer slow down when chasing the player.

    Roxy has a Cooldown when chasing the player.

    The distance to the tunnels from the forest is now slightly shorter.

    New Ending Voice Lines.

    Balanced Nights 4 & 5 (...Sorry lol)

    Made it more clear when G. Freddy is attacking in front of you in 'red eye mode'

    Added New Ambience when G. Freddy is about to attack

Finally back to working on SPECTER, Got over 80 Interactions added to the diner, expecting ~ 100 more. Also finished the General Design of the Diner, including the Bathrooms. Now onto the Kitchen, and storage room.
