...Now I am soon to return.

Howdy!
...so, it's been a while.

---

I'm actually surprised that my unfinished project still manages to garner some attention after all these months. I keep seeing email notifications of activity in my released game and engine on Gamejolt.

Now, I presume, now that I have checked back in, some will raise questions on why I abandoned the project, and what I was doing for the past 2 years.

---

Well, I have not much of an excuse. I went out in search of more programming knowledge, starting from Java, and finally to C++ and Assembly.

I did some projects here and there, but I kept going on to the next, constantly finding the next shiny thing to program where I can reinvent the wheel much easier (and it's not necessarily *just* for my engine). Of course, it didn't turn out pretty well. I tried doing some OpenGL, but I am unfortunately still inexperienced at it.

---

So, what am I about do now?

Well, not much just yet. All I know is that I will go back to developing my game and engine starting around Mid-May. Until then, stay tuned.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Why walk when you can jump?

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
