Bartender, the wielder of Null, was an overseer of sorts for the rest of the originals in the original universe and good friends with the mind wielder. He would make sure nobody would act in ways which would hurt the others as his powers allowed him to negate the other's abilities. However he was the last to realize darknesses plan to steal half of the each original's powers but when he did it was too late. After stealing half of everybody's power to erase death from the world, Darkness was filled with desire and began to use the power recklessly, causing massive destruction to the original universe and finally getting the attention of Bartender. Once they faced off, the power of null negated Darkness' stolen powers for only a moment before they flared up again as the combined power of 6 chronos abilities was too much for Bartender to negate. Trying again he unleashed a massive Null attack which met Darkness' own attack of every power he had obtained in his fist.

In a single moment, a monstrous amount of every power was negated then materialized again as it overcame negation. This was the catechistic event which caused the creation of the multiverse.

He fell into one of the timelines of the new multiverse, and after expirencing great tragedy and heartbreak, he unleashed all the null power available to him in grief, causing the first reset. Eventually he would come across a time patroller who bought him back to the time patrol where he set up a bar and eventually met back up with the time queen. He and the Time Queen worked together to develop this reset ability into something the other time patrollers could, without telling them about chronos. Chronos crystals, these gave the time patrollers the ability to reset, given the timeline wasn't producing too much chronos, use chronos abilities and more. They would eventually be discover the future vision ability. In timelines it would allow them to see the history of the unaltered timeline and what it's future should look like, but outside of timelines it would only see seconds into the future, however to future vison users in the same vicinity would negate each other's time vision.

He and Time Queen would work happily together for decades. Sometimes he would hear horrible things about TIme Queen and her actions, but he couldn't think bad about the only original he met so he passed them off as rumours. Eventually, he would come across something he couldn't ignore. Time patrollers would begin committing horrible actions to get the chronos of a timeline lower, murdering innocents, no longer taking prisoners, and using their powers in gruesome way. This inhumane time patrol was supported by the Time Queen, and to his dismay Bartender could do nothing to stop it. His null powers could no longer let him balance the multiverse alone. To this day he waits for the next generation, hoping they will be able to stand up to the Time patrol, and change it for the good
