Officially the project has (mostly) advanced to the next phase where most of the mechanics of the game are practically implemented.
Next is level design and spritework on scenarios which will take longer to make

Here, Susie and Ralsei using their skills.


About their skills:

Susie basically has two states:

When she isn't targetting an enemy the rude buster will just go on on the direction it was first shooted.

However IF she is targetting an enemy then the bullet will follow the enemy until it hits it or a wall.

In Ralsei's case, you have to set the place where you want him to spawn, after a brief animation it will start spawning healing hearts that you can use to heal yourself.

Honestly spritework took me more than actual programming tho i'm satisfied with the result.

That would be all.

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.

I made this sprite trying to resemble #CaveStory art style with somewhat a little of #Deltarune for the game. I can say i'm satisfied with the result.
