Offshore

Introducing Offshore, a simple platforming game featuring “Jimmy II” traversing an impractically designed, impossibly large offshore oil platform. Can you make it to the top before time runs out?
Some of you may recognize this game… this game was created over the past year or so as an entry for a national student competition, where it won eighth place. Part of that competition’s regulations included that the game be playable in 15 minutes or less, so this game is anything but long.
Don’t expect many updates since the game is considered completed.

Enjoy!

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

Family band complete!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
