Hi, this is JOTE speaking. Also, yes, this is the update post I talked about 2 days ago. I have a few things to share, as well as a few thoughts.
REGARDING ANDROID PORTS.
I wanted to talk about this, since I think I'm being honest when I say, I don't know what the fuck should I port next, there are 0 fangames that catch my attention. And, yes, this is not a joke, I've been searching from top to bottom of the GameJolt #fnaf section but I can't find anything too interesting for me to port. So if you guys have any suggestions, lmk in the comments, thank you ;).
I'LL HAVE A NEW PC PRETTY SOON.
YES, finally I'll get rid of my old PC, which, even though is not that bad, the motherboard is a bit old and recently started to give me some issues.
And, this new PC will be A LOT MORE POWERFUL, meaning that I could work with (hopefully) no issues.
I'M GETTING A BIT TIRED OF CLICKTEAM.
Yes.
Clickteam is an old engine, and has also started to show its flaws to me recently, so, as the time of writing this post, I have carefully decided to take a little break from it to start learning a much powerful engine which most of FNaF fangame developers have started to use recently, I'm talking about GameMaker Studio 2.
This engine, unlike Clickteam, is a much powerful, updated and optimized game engine, meaning that it doesn't crash of freak out every 5 seconds.
And, what about Android export in this engine?
WELL... :)
I think that's everything for now, and the idea of me learning GMS2 I think that's going to be a great helper on teaching to me how to CODE with a real enviroment, and not with simple visual coding blocks like Clickteam 😒.
I think that's everything for now, see y'all later :)
JOTE.
