Okay, soo I think I may have found like some good information 2.5D depth sorting, and I think that the way with like I’ve been trying to do it the entire time(derivative off of Griffpatchs way) probably isn’t gonna get me anywhere


I may have to just completely try to write my own depth sorting code using a list but doing a completely different sorting algorithm with it

The one thats been popping up most of the time has been topological sorting which I’ve been trying to understand, I’ve also found like people finding other ways of doing it in other engines. Which I could try to translate into Turbowarp, but more than likely if not, I might have to do the topological sort whenever I figure how that even works

But I’m gonna try to do more research on it instead of just frantically just doing whatever pops into my mind. Cuz I am NOT gonna have a repeat with what I did in 2024, it almost killed the project twice and I had to do a full on reboot because of it. So until I’m absolutely sure on knowing what I’m doing, I’m gonna have to just have to take a bit more time with it and hopefully not waste another year getting absolutely nothing done because of this.

I’m also not gonna try to let it get too much in the way of college either so yeah,

Having to restructure on how the cycle breaking down works is a lot more trickier than I thought- I'm having to rethink the way I go about this and I'm having to keep restructure things to work easier and so it's simple to me to understand
