The game is extremely close to being finished - as in I maybe only have a day left of work when it comes to programming.
However there is one last major step I have to take before I can even think of launching... I have to re-render every asset in the whole game.
Wait! Before you get your torches and pitchforks out, let me explain; I don't need to remake any models, or reprogram anything, I simply have to re-render the assets and import them back into the game.
I want to put out the best game I can, and that goal is clashing with some very old assets I made before I started taking development seriously, such as extremely low poly props, bad textures & materials, weird lighting, poor & redundant rendering quality, bad artwork that I could do so much better now, etc.
So for the next few weeks leading up to launch I'm going to be fixing those issues. Some of you may not even be able to tell anything is different from the screenshots on the page and what the final game will look like, but it'll put my mind at ease and make me feel more confident in launching the game.
You won't have to wait much longer. Mary and her friends are ready.
