Hello. Yet another version of Onslaught will be releasing soon. Just to notify you of the many improvements made for the game since it’s original release(v1) on February 1, 2010, here are all the patch notes i’ve recorded. Patch Notes:
Onslaught v2
-Added blur effect to ghost enemy (for increased intimidation and brain boggling)
-Fixed Lasik so that you don’t get stuck on it.
Onslaught v3
-You can now buy more extended mags after more bosses, not just after the first boss.
-Second Boss HP increased from 250 to 300.
-Last Boss HP increased from 300 to 400.
-When Third Boss dies, it destroys all spells and enemies.
-Menu music removed and portal sprite changed for memory purposes.
-Pressing the ESCAPE button will now take you to the main menu, instead of closing the game.
-Overall memory of game reduced by 35%
-Removed ghost enemy blur effect (too intimidating)
Onslaught v4 (ROTFV)
-Camera moves with mouse.
-NEW BOSS: ZFAT, 700 HP, Don’t expect this fight to be easy.
-Shop menu enhancements.
-Some sprites redone.
-Screen turns red when you are hurt, increases awareness of looking at your health.
-3 new levels. This WILL take you more than the first try.
-New monsters
-Lowered memory usage of game by removing unwanted sprite animation images.
-Fixed some bugs, including using being able to use Sniper at level 15.
-Added pause menu when pushed Escape
Onslaught v4.1
-Small fixes and enhancements.
-Music change to match theme of Vikings.
-Background of menu changed.
-NEW ITEMS: Swift, Shield, and Charge Armor! (Make game easier, and make your player look cooler!)
-You can see how many Extra Mags you can buy now.
Onslaught v4.1.1
-When in Shield Armor, you don’t get stuck on the left wall.
-You can use Flashbangs on the last 2 levels.
Onslaught v5
-Game NOT called Reign of the Viking anymore, reverted back to Onslaught.
-NEW EFFECTS: New Particle effect when you use your jetpack.
-Added particle effect to make portal look more realistic.
-Added effect for spell that Barbarians cast.
-When you use a flashbang, the image speed of the enemies goes to 0, so it looks like they’re frozen.
-Background and sprites refined.
-Music changed to normal.
-Game doesn’t glitch up after you beat the game.
-You can kill the bosses again NOW after you beat the game.
-Fixed glitches on enemies stuck to walls.
-Deletes every enemy on EVERY boss after you kill it now.
-New menu background.
-You can see where enemies will spawn.
-Pause menu added.
Onslaught v5.1
-Fixed error stated when flying in shop after pressing ‘Continue’.
-Size of shop changed.
-Main Menu changed to more simple look.
-NEW Final Boss- Onslaughter the Invincible- Defeat the creator of all the enemies you’ve fought.
BE WARNED: Like before, this is NOT EASY. Health of boss will be restored when you fight it again, not like other bosses.
-NEW Onslaught Mode- Kill infinite hordes of enemies and compete with friends for the highest score!
-NEW special equipment- Homing Razor
-Fixed some bugs, but gained a new one that was not fixable.
Onslaught v6
-ADDED! New difficulties, (Easy for people who aren’t as good), Normal is what it is in previous versions, and (Insane for INSANE people.)
-Swift Armor is decreased in speed and all directions are same speed.
-Major bug fixes that pissed people off.
-Weapon balancing.
-Assault Rifle requires level 7, up from 3, for more use of pistols.
-Muting music option (M,N)
Onslaught v6.1
-NEW WEAPONS! Gatling Gun and Rocket Launcher
-Onslaught Mode enhanced to Firefight Mode! Now there are waves of enemies that come out.
-Global Highscores!
Onslaught v6.1.1
-Camping spots in Firefight Mode deleted. No longer can you sit and not be hit by enemies.
-FireFight Mode only counts kills for points.

Onslaught v7
-Major edited sprites (Special thanks to Electron!) of bosses and monsters.*
-Minor edited sprite of the Rocket Launcher.
-MAJOR UPDATE: New ammo system! Instead of the unrealistic charge ammo system, with regenerative ammo, you will now use a regular clip system like in actual shooters! (Inspired by Salbris suggestion)
-MAJOR UPDATE: Killing enemies will now give you points, which is equivalent to money when in the shop!! Level requirements have been removed from weapons, and additional money/points requirements are added. Points will be needed to be ammo as well, since you WON’T have infinite ammo anymore.
-MAJOR UPDATE: You can now HOLD TWO WEAPONS!! Scroll with the mouse to switch!*
-MAJOR UPDATE: GameJolt Achievement Compatibility! Try to obtain ALL 17 achievements!
-HUD is fixed while inside the shop for better visibility. (Inspired by Salbris suggestion)
-Minor changes in beginning instructions.
