Optimisation and Bug Fixes - Project BladeRain Alpha v0.0.6


New Additions:

  • Changed water to improve optimization

  • Removed unnecessarily details which caused lag

  • Added a new chamber to the dungeon

  • Added a functioning chest to the dungeon

  • Added torches to the dungeon for better lighting

  • Attacking is now about 2x faster

  • Improved hit feedback

  • Removed sliding due to glitches

  • Slightly improved animations

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed water lag

  • Fixed grass causing massive amounts of lag

  • Fixed player jumping in midair

  • Fixed mid air footsteps

  • Fixed player sometimes floating away from the ground

  • Fixed crouching making the camera go too low

  • Fixed Enemies not moving sometimes

Planned Additions for the Future:

  • Improved Enemy AI

  • Story, Quests, and Dialogue

  • Inventory System

  • Loading screen when starting the game

  • Saving / Loading system

  • More islands

  • Better Optimization

  • Interior for houses in towns

Known Issues:

  • Enemies avoid walking through bushes

  • The mouse is sometimes visible when you tab into the window

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
