WHAT
's up. Everybody. Development has been slow as of late, mostly because I've been really busy with school, but also because of another thing you're gonna read later. I've also been sleeping for like 12 hours every day and I'm not sure why. Hm. Anyway, I think things will start picking up again soon. I've gotten caught up on most of my work and hopefully more progress will be made faster. Also it's still November in California, count it!
REVISIONININING:
The other day I was staring into space thinking about ollie, that led me to thinking about my sprite, then I started worrying if it looked to similar to the reference I used. It did! I think so at least. And being a bit shaken, I look through some of my spritesheets, see one, and say to myself:
"Hey, I stole that."
"Uh oh."
I feel like anyone who makes sprites does something like this at least once. Or maybe they don't and I'm the worst person ever? I wouldn't put it past me. It's a pretty awful thing to indirectly claim a sprite you didn't entirely make is yours. Not even really sure how I let this happen, perhaps some kind of cognitive dissonance, or perhaps mental retardation, who knows. We're not gonna be seeing anymore of that, I've made a list (or, I was making a list, but had to pause to make this.) of every sprite I've ever made, so any sprite I felt was too close to the references used, or that had parts made by other people (with the exception of sprites contributed for Orange Edition), is getting re-done. It's not too many sprites, and besides, it's good practice and I've had fun re-doing them so far. Y'know I started Orange Edition as a passion project, something to test my mettle with art and game design and all of that creative stuff. So I don't want something that isn't made by me in a game that's my own. And there won't be, not on my watch...

SPRITES:
That are actually made by me. I know that's not very believable after that last segment, uhhh but it's true! Have a look.

I'm running out of time, okay bye!
