Greetings! Well, not much updates on the game this week as I've been sick, so I decided to doodle sketches of an old game I didn't end up making instead.

At the time I was thinking of ideas for Blood Of The Killer I had an idea for a really quick, spinoff kind of game I could make before that one, called Orgone Madness.

The premise would be that ZZ got into the orgone pyramid business and enlisted BB as her assistant. They both move into a network of abandoned warehouses due to the chemical fumes of the orgonite manufacture process. Due to ZZ's business savvy their orgone store takes off, in part bc they've abandoned the traditional pyramid form in order to make orgone models of various popular cartoon characters and IPs.

ZZ: For the next one, I'm thinking of doing Mickey M--

As it turns out this gets the attention of a rival orgone pyramid industry made up of pythagoras-worshipping true believers who want to expunge the non-pyramid heresy. They catch BB and threaten to chop her into parts to encase in pyramids and sell on the special collector's market, but she talks her way into selling them her stake in the business instead.

BB leads the pyramid men back to the factory, which is now densely covered in chemical orgonite smoke that causes mild hallucinations. They find ZZ who is hiding from something. ZZ explains that she finally gave into temptation and decided to make an orgonite mickey mouse sculpture. However since orgone is supposedly sex energy and since mickey mouse is the "least sexual cartoon mouse on the planet" due to disney IP restrictions, the reaction is unstable and creates a monstrous living Mickey Mouse id creature. Hijinx, etc.

I never did any development on this idea beyond plotting out the outline in a few days - I think after Flesh Of The Killer I wanted to go back to trying something a little less cartoony, and after I'd done the outline I felt like there wasn't really a lot to it... Having a monster version of a famous cartoon character at the end felt like it was sort of a cliche of internet horror stuff by now as well. Some of the orgone jokes made their way into Ears Of The Killer instead, as did some of the new-agey pythagoras cult stuff. Last and most importantly I've avoided being ritually dismembered by disney lawyers myself for the moment at least.

Anyway I hope it was interesting reading about one of these that didn't work out!!
