OSEN 0.3 ALPHA is OUT - Welcome to the Barrens!


Got a fresh new steaming update for y’all, and its contents are blue sand and Phosphor :3c

Honestly, there could’ve been a faster way of doing this but I’m a meticulous person, and so I wanted to re-create the OneShot world as accurately as possible. That being said, yes I did each detail tile-by-tile (except for the sands in the Barrens, nobody’s got time for that). There’s the occasional inaccuracy brought out by miscounting, but at least most of it’s accurate :V

Coming up on the next update are UI additions (such as settings, online list, friends, etc.), an inventory system (how else are you gonna get to the gassy areas? By holding your breath?), the rest of the barrens, and the emote system.

No promises when it’ll be out, but it definitely will be. Til then -w-/

MAJOR: Majority of Barrens area is now available
ADDED: Code Portals and an activated Barrens portal
ADDED: Anti-speedhack measures to prepare for minigames implementation
ADDED: A green “?” now appears above your username if you are facing something interactable
ADDED: The first minigame, Checkers (Note: Currently unavailable)
ADDED: Room Transition effect
FIX: You can no longer walk/run in place while chatting (I actually liked this bug so I’ll be replacing it with an emoting feature in the future)
IMPROVED: Chat functionality and aesthetic
IMPROVED: Fullscreen chat now displays more text!`
