Phantom Focus is a first-person photography game where you hunt for ghosts using nothing but your camera. Explore a spooky mansion, uncover ghosts hidden in antique furniture, and capture them to boost your score!

I plan to continue the project next semester and publish the game on Steam.
Polishing phase is over, and Phantom Focus is now released on the Games Academy page! We're excited to see what the jury says at the presentation tomorrow!
Polish
We have finished implementing all remaining player feedback like sounds, vfx, making the game as smooth as possible in the final days. My fellow game designer Alex and spend days with nothing but balancing, we are very satisfied with the final result. Thanks to our programmers for the modular systems!
Lighting
Unfortunately, the ghosts because of our switch to the Universal Render Pipeline. Our VFX and UI artist experimented alot, but due to technical problems we simply couldn't finish it. But in turn our artists were now able to create beutiful lighting and shaders for the environment!
Team
This was by far my most fun and most stable semester project, no major internal problems or last minute feature implementation. Everything went pretty according to our project plan, and even BEYOND.
We have 150% more assets than planned, including 50 more props and 1 more ghost, completed one nice to have feature, the ghost radar, and we were able to do voice acting!
I want to thank all of our team members. Thank you for joining my pitch project, and having the excitement to make such an outstanding project, even tho all of you are doing this for the first time!
