A hybrid of humans with various demons, PERVERSA spent her entire childhood as a slave, as she was of a mixed race and of unknown origin. While still young, her skin was burned by one of her owners, Skorpsy, a madman who liked to torture his servants.
Madeline is the main protagonist of the mountain climbing platformer, Celeste. The game has been praised for its visuals, gameplay, and introspective narrative. The game's creator Maddy Thorson confirmed that Madeline is trans in 2020.
