The V0.2 update , is almost done !
I’m actualy working on optimization. Actualy the framerate is unstable and low. Around the 20 fps, in this Devlog I will explain how I work on optimization for Slave and how Slave will pass 20FPS to 100FPS.

In this screenshot you can see the framerate, and most important Tris and Verts. It’s basically the number of polygon of a mesh.

As you can see, number of polygon is very impacting on graphics quality, but too higher number of polygons impact on performance.
On the screenshot of the statistics windows you can see a very high number of polygons “2.3 Millions”.
To optimize Slave I will reduce polygons of 3D model, minor polygons reducing but that will be very important for performance and not impacting on graphics quality.
I will reduce number of particle, it’s very impacting on performance because there are many torches.
Optimize material is also very important, like remove some unused materials.
