I've decided to keep the game as is, because I want it to be "a product of its time" per se.
I mean, it runs fine, and works fine (at least on my end, however I think Clickteam games can sometimes act wacky depending on what computer they're being played on, idk) so I find it to be kind of a waste of time.
Instead, I've decided to do something else which I think will be a lot more interesting and less of a waste.
I have no idea if it'll work, but it doesn't hurt to try I guess.
I wanna keep it a secret for now because I think it's gonna be something that no one will expect, specially coming from me.
That being said though, I've made one (maybe final) patch for the game, here are the changes:
- Made it so that you can proceed by pressing Enter in frames like the warning, how to play, beaten night, etc. (cuz why not)
- Fixed a small visual oversight related to the office
- Fixed the Jumpscares section in the Extras [and made the buttons spammable :3]
- Properly aligned in frame the how to play text (not sure how my OCD didn't notice this until now)
- Removed a hotkey that instantly set the power to 0 (lmao)
- Redid some stuff related to the INI (praying this doesn't break the game 🙏)
EDIT: Oh yeah, the "how did the revival of this game came to be" post is still happening regardless, I've just been procastinating because I really don't feel like writing rn lol
