Patch 4.1: LAST FREE BUILD

Alpha 4 has been patched in consideration of the last update, but with a few new tweaks. Furthermore, it will be the last FREEEEE build. WHAT?!

That’s right. We’re getting close to beta and should be hitting that milestone sometime this quarter. We just have a few more features we need to work up. Most notably are destructible environments. BOOSH!

Before you get too excited, this feature is being prototyped right now, which means that if it doesn’t pass the mark as something fun and doable, then it will be cut. But it’s looking promising so far! After that, there are some final art updates to make and then we’ll be on our way!

During beta, Bombasm will be on sale for 50% off on the Gamejolt Marketplace and itch.io. At launch, Bombasm will be expanding to other popular digital stores.

Cheers m8ts,
-Nick (Creative Producer)

EDIT (8/6/16): We are not implementing destructible environments. Bombasm was not built with the technical foundations to support such a feature this far into development. While we could in fact make it work, it would be a long effort to do so, and for that reason, we need to scrap it. We’re taking it as a lesson learned in initial design planning.

Heya! I wanted to show some gameplay progress i made so far. I hope you like it ^^

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
