Hello everyone!
This is a large patch, featuring a lot of new content and the beginnings of an even greater puzzle yet to come. Without further ado, here’s what’s changed in this patch:
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where objective text could appear in a different language than the one selected.
Fixed a bug where particles, lights, and fog were unchecked by default.
Fixed a bug where using the portal in the Deep Below would abruptly transition the level.
Fixed a bug where double jumps could be triggered by accident when there was only one layer of cave wall below the player.
Fixed a bug where memory particles could fail to appear when the player was below 25 fireflies.
Fixed a bug where the player would jump without player input when falling off of a ramp into another level.
Fixed a rare bug where information text wouldn’t disappear from the screen.
Feature Changes
Firefly release effect has been improved.
Aftershocks have been added which will occur randomly and shake the caverns.
Vine walls have been added to various regions of the game. Press up while grabbing onto them to climb the vines!
Several old levels have been updated to improve design.
The ring around the game icon has been cleaned up.
Added information text when colliding with runes.
Rune Obelisks have been added to certain caverns in the world. These will be part of something larger that’s currently being designed.
