Patch Update!


It's been about 5 months since the game came out, and as the sequel has been announced, and I feel it's about time to get some patches out!

Some of the larger critiques of the game, such as the phone calls being way too long, aren't going to be covered in this patch nor future patches, if any more come.


  • Corrected a bunch of typos

    • Small bits of every phone call.

    • One of Luna's lines when flashed.

    • One of Swab's death lines.

    • One of Harbor's death lines.

  • If a phone call has finished and you die, restarting the night will no longer start the phone call again.

  • Every character, excluding Lockdown, now play a voice line upon activating in their introduction night.

  • The chance to play random character dialogue is now 10x more common.

  • Umbryl is no longer visually slowed down if Swab is blocking their doorway.

  • Umbryl no longer restarts their doorway fade-in if Swab enters their doorway shortly after Umbryl enters.

  • The light switches no longer make sound if clicked while Swab is blocking them.

  • Swab is no longer active immediately in Night 2, now activating at 2:30 AM.

  • Swab's painting can be interacted with the moment it starts sliding into the office instead of when Swab stops sliding in.

  • Fixed one of Swab's 4x4 patterns having one incorrectly colored piece of paper.

  • Swab now properly delays Umbryl's kill timer when the painting is submitted instead of once the lever can be interacted with - however Umbryl is not delayed as long.

  • Massively reduced the vertical hitbox size of the paper on the window.

  • Nibbles' eating voice line is now muted if you aren't on the Dining Room camera or you're aren't on the cameras.

  • Nibbles now blocks access to the cameras until she starts leaving the office after grabbing the box of snackies.

  • Once Nibbles leaves the office, the box of snackies she's holding no longer reappears for one frame.

  • Beating a non-Max Mode Custom Night no longer displays any flavor text.

  • Fixed the computer monitor showing the cameras one frame before the camera stops moving.

  • Fixed jumpscare visuals being visible immediately if the player is in the cameras when being jumpscared.

  • The extras menu jumpscare tab no longer plays sound.
