Hello Wolf Pack! It’s been a while, the team took a short break after the crowdfunding campaign and Steam Next Festival. Our Dev Log this month will be short but we have lots of cool stuff planned that we can share!

Crowdfunding Updates - 38% Funded!

We are now 38% funded thank you to all the backers who have supported us, we have started sending out physical rewards so you’ll start seeing them come in the next couple of weeks!  If you'd like to support us check out the campaign page here.

Dev Updates

We’ve recently been working on world-building for the Moonlight Falls area and doing some UI improvements, of course, bug fixing as well!  If you had the chance to check out the latest update you’ll notice that all placeholders with the spirit key system have been replaced with final models! Kazeyo enjoys the new update!

Moonlight Falls is getting a new entrance!

We’re planning on adding a rock garden area as well and started preparing assets for it:

We’ve also been working on small props like Shimenawa rope or ‘sacred rope.’

Demo News + Upcoming Updates

We plan on having the Path of Kami demo permanently posted on Steam until the prologue has been released. It will always be available on GameJolt though! We want to do one more final update to complete the demo that will include:

• Collectibles Menu in Pause Menu

• Controller support for ALL menus

• Graphical Settings

• Moonlight Falls Environment update

• Optimization

We also would like to add a localization system to start importing other languages :) We are working on these changes already but will take some time. We'll announce a date closer to when were closer to completion.

We heard you wanted merch? So...we got some!

We have recently launched a shop on Spreadshirt and Etsy! We have a variety of t shirts, stickers, pins, posters, coasters and more that has Captilight and Path of Kami branded merch! We plan on frequently cycling in/out content to keep the shop fresh and to share new stuff with you! 

What’s coming soon: Path of Kami Bookmarks inspired by the Omijkuji you’ll see in-game :)
