I just did a PC VR test last night because a lot of people were asking for that so here we go.

First things first, the battery life SUCKS! I played phasmaphobia with around 49% battery life and my battery dropped to 20% in like 30 minutes. Not even one match of the game.

But I did think the headset was a lot more optimized for PC, I found connecting and setting up PC VR on the headset to be so much easier and faster. It was a lot more smooth and less stuttering. But that always comes with a downside

When using SteamVR I guess OVR and steamVR haven’t put any accessibilities for the Quest 3 because it kept thinking I was on a VIVE INDEX so OVR was completely unusable and steam VR was assigning buttons that aren’t even on the headset. But atleast there is less stuttering!

And before anyone asks it doesn’t really effect what graphics you have on PC VR because all the graphics are controlled by the PC, I have a 3050 and I thought everything ran pretty smooth besides steam VR not working with the headset.

If you are wanting a good headset for PCVR go buy the quest 3 but it might be a bit of time before Steam and OVR has updated for your headset.
