Hey, folks! Splurgy here! I decided it'd be fun to start making dev logs for the game. It'll give you an insight on how development is going, and it'll give me an excuse to procrastinate more college essays! Hurray! So without further ado... Let's get on with it!
MUTATSU'S LINK IS COMPLETE!
Yup, that's right. Mutatsu has been fully implemented into PersoNO 0 as a functioning social link chalk full of benefits that AREN'T overpowered! I promise! One thing Chungus lacks in his arsenal is status effects, as someone so kindly pointed out to me. I had came to the conclusion that Mutatsu needed to be a status effect guy. He'll give you access to plenty of status effects like Poisma, Blind, and even a new status effect implemented by yours truly, Burn! I won't spoil much as I feel this link is really funny and should be experienced by yourself when the game comes out, but I'm very satisfied with the quality of writing!

UPDATED TO NEW VERSION OF MKXP-Z!
As I have stated in the past, I've decided to move to an upgraded and modified version of the VX Ace engine for PersoNO 0GT. Things have been going swimmingly since, however there has been a slight problem with font rendering. This new version solves this issue and has resulted in much clearer text for reading!

Ain't that CLEAN? Fantastic! Yay! I'm hoping this means I don't have to go back and edit dialogue to fit the font sizing anymore, as that was a prevalent issue in the past...
ACHIEVEMENTS! ACHIEVEMENTS! I LOOOOVE ACHIEVEMENTS!
After completing Mutatsu's link, I decided it was time to work on achievements for the base game of PersoNO 0. Instead of solely working with the GameJolt API this time around for trophies like how PersoNO: The Splurgy New Remastered Cut Definitive Edition did, I've opted to use an external achievement system that can be accessed in-game! I've been receiving a lot of help from my co-dev Danu making it work as planned, but the outcome looks quite nice! This script I'm using can sync with other APIs as well, so rest assured, you can still earn those trophies on your GameJolt profile! (Ignore these icons. They're placeholders...)

I've still got a couple things I want to do with the menu to pretty it up and make it more concise for the player to navigate and understand, but as of now, EVERY SINGLE ACHIEVEMENT is obtainable (as far as I'm concerned). I haven't actually tested all of them, but I've added all of the data into the game and the triggers to earn them. I'm currently commissioning an artist to do achievement art, so stay tuned for that! This menu can be accessed by the dorm laptop à la Persona 3 Reload's dorm computer mechanic. Here, you can see all the achievements you've unlocked and see which ones you haven't! (Duh.) Some other things I want to add to this is the ability to click the earned achievements to view the achievement art more clearly, a progress bar of how many achievements have been earned, a platinum trophy that automatically gets earned when the progress bar has been filled, and a better notification bar for whenever you unlock an achievement, similar to Steam.
CLOSING WORDS!
These past two months recently have been fucking Hell on Earth for me. I've lost a lot of things I hold dear to my heart, and I had to go through some bad heartbreak. I'm not sure how I'll continue to hold up, but I've trucked through the pain for the sake of everyone continuing to support this project. I'm not sure when I'll make the game page, but if I had to guess I'd say probably when I get enough art for promo material and get far enough into the development of Gunslinger's Tale, but for now, it's about time I started up on working on the main attraction. I hope you'll stick around to see the end result!
