Pixel Moon Devlog 3

Hey, after a small pause I worked further on the project. I managed to fix all errors (a lot xD) that occured while using the planting system. It was very complicated, but it is worth the time spent. The code for only using the hoe, planting a seed and watering the plant until you can harvest it, is 1400 lines long, which is huge imo. I’m pasting this code know for every earth spot that can be used (10 times max). Differnt seeds can now be used in every single spot and you can create your own combination of crops.

I also changed the status screen to be a drawer screen of the cupboard in the house, where the player can see the equipment and change the bought seeds.

After the whole planting, I’ll make something less complicated and add a cow and chicken which offer milk and eggs.

After that I’ll add another drawer page to let the player see all collectible and sellable items (crops, milk, eggs…) that he currently owns.

A new screenshot of the drawer view has been added.

By the way I recorded some footage of the development progress if you are interested to see the work :)

Just as Pecaminosa's musicians #improvise this rendition of #LittleSunflower 🌻, so do we improvise with this post you're reading. 😂

What's coming out of your own improvs? 🤔

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

Here's a Fredbear sprite i made in Aseprite! I'm pretty proud of this!

(Btw, sorry for the double post! I'll try to post less)
