Play Testing and Feedback 11/03/15

Hi everyone. Today we did a bunch of play testing for Cat RPG! Originally Cat RPG started as a game jam game for an RPG Maker jam. So I was never able to get it to a finished state and a lot of systems were tossed in unfinished.

Looking at it now I’m considering redoing a lot of aspects such as only holding one inventory item (maybe just removing the limit or adding a backpack and storage spot) and meat only giving you back energy rather than health. Originally these ideas and others made it seem more “cat like”, however I feel they might be taking away from the enjoyment of actual play.

Currently our main focus is making original enemy portraits, adding/ improving quests, and general bug fixing. We have a road map and a long list of improvements to make I will post later but we’d love to hear from you if you have any comments or suggestions. You can comment here on GameJolt, at @SecularBaron , or email me at [email protected].

Have fun!

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
