We are back!

The time of demo and beta testing is finally over. Thanks for all those who took the time to test and write detailed feedback! You helped significantly into improving the final game.

The last version for the first chapter of Word To Angel is now available both on Steam and here on Game Jolt! After long weeks of hard work and testing, it's finally here. The full introduction chapter of the game with all its features and content exactly how it'd be in the finished game.

Here's a list of all the main features that's been added to complete it:

• Rework of the music minigames' design and system with now a bypass option for people who dislike rhythm games or find them too difficult

• Main menu + saving system and checkpoints throughout the whole chapter

• Rework of Deci-Bell's boss battle

• Addition of the Voiding Room (Kickstarter's stretch goal) - Try pressing E on the apartment bed both before the Deci-Bell boss battle and after

• Full ending of chapter (more dialogues and interactions) - In order to finish the chapter, try checking the gate down the park after beating Deci-Bell

• New easter egg

• New songs - Try checking the music player before and after beating Deci-Bell

• Many details and bugs fixing

This chapter will stay available at all time and for free until the full game releases. The full game will have 6 chapters in total, and the 6th will be the longest. The first chapter is the shortest as it is the introduction though expect all other chapters in general to be definitely longer.

We can now move on from the first chapter and continue working on the rest.

The full game is expected to release in summer 2026.
We'll continue to collect feedbacks, of course. Feel free to share your experience of playing through the demo by joining (if you haven't already) the Discord server.
We will be releasing patches if needed for any bug fixing and future feature changing, according to you guys' feedback.
