WHY IS THAT UPDATE TAKING SO LONG?
I have to finaly say it, while announcing update called "2.5" I thought it really gonna be a small update, like more sound effects, talk sounds, translations and little changes like checkpoint icon and better instructions, however everything changed since an Idea about DEFINITIVE BETA appeard
WHAT IS "DEFINITIVE BETA"?
"Definitive beta" here means that this update known as "2.5" gonna be the final update of beta state of game and if it got released there would be NO CHANGES in actual gameplay anymore. That means that this what you will be able to see in that beta is final and it won't be changed in any future updates, that's why I wanted to make 2.5 shows everyone what they might finally expect from the project. Sounds unneccesary Ik but I had to do this because I changed this gameplay a lot almost every update that drops, and this game was supposed to be released summer 2023 but becaues of it it's still in beta
ABSOLUTE REWORK?
Of course, it won't be perfect beacuse no game is perfect but I tried to make it the best how I am able to. There's like 90% of game will be reworked. For better of course. As I see gameplay from 2.1.5 I'm just suprised how shitty it was and I thought it's good back then, for example atack mechanic was absolutely terrible, I put way more effort in things like that because they're really important and I didn't noticed it earlier.
WHEN WILL UPDATE DROP THEN?
Heh, well actually I'm 57% done with all stuff, it might seems bad for the time it already took but fortunately it's not really accurate because the most time-taking things are already done, and just some less important (but still important) things left. So a could say update is like 71% done
I hope that I will be able to release it still in May but no promises
Tbh I'm impressed that our little but cool "group of fans" [I would not really call it community yet] is still active at this topic, thanks guys for your support!
Thx for reading this!
Take care!
