well, that was another great day at the popgoes pizzeria. the show was great, but now it's time for everyone to leave, but... do you really have to leave? this place has everything a kid could ever want: food, fun, games, stickers, phones, lots and lots of phones. when everyone else left the building, including mr. fritz, you decide to stay to play that new arcade game that got installed. without further ado, let's play...

We start right at the garden playing as Popgoes.

We can talk with the other members of the gang, collect some coins, but our main mission for now, is to go to the inn and talk with Sara.

basically, someone or something is draining life from all the forests, and that's obviously very, very bad, so you have to stop it. the north forest is already cooked, but you can go and save the other ones, and the north forest has been locked up behind three keys. there's probably one in each of the other ones, so uh, yeah, go get them.

before we go to the west forest for the first key, some quick stuff to mention. first of all, manora is your save point; just talk to her, and she'll save the game.

second, because we're on the steam version of the game, we now have our very own room in the inn. it's empty rn, but it'll be filled to the brim soon.

Anyway welcome to the west/autumn forest!

In case it wasn't obvious enough already yep the games a full on rpg!

You explore places, fight bitches, get money, upgrade stuff, and fight more bitches!

There's 3 different enemies here the corrupt deer the hawk (tuah) and the hedgehog

The deer is the easiest enemy in the whole game.

The hawk misses her attacks a lot.

And the hedgehog is a big piece of shit i actually got him the first time i got attacked here and he kicked my ass hard.

Eventually after walking for a while you reach a shop ran by holly.

this is where you can buy items and also upgrade your health and attack stats. see, the game doesn't have xp, so the only way to upgrade is to get enough money to buy the upgrades from holly.

there are some places in the west forest you can't go to yet that are blocked by a huge rock and water.

But enough about that it's time to fight against the big bad here.

Now who could it be could it be Morse the mole? or a big hawk tuah or the black rabb- WRONG it's Chica.

huh.... i guess copyright doesn't exist in this universe

because chica is a boss character she has her own gimmick to help spice things up. basically, every third strike, chica will jump, meaning your attack doesn't count.

But even with that she goes down pretty easily, and we get our first key.

If we go to the room above we'll see a huge hole and popgoes says that he can see something on the other side but can't get it.

also look! pumpkin funfact this is completely unrelated to the review but in 2020 i had a dream where the game randomly got updated and if you interact with the pumpkin you'd get a jack o chica boss fight who was stupidly overpowered

Anyway before we talk to Sara again let's get back to the inn to save and.... huh...

Was that door always open? let's check inside.

Winding the music box causes the Puppet to come out of it.

the puppet yaps a lot about the stuff we do and why we do it

The Puppet offers us a deal to make your battles more random a gift box to either help us, or make the fight more miserable, to make up for it you do get more money so what's your choice? will you agree or not agree hmm?

Basically the way this system works is that in battles sometimes there'll be a gift box.

You can either open it or leave it be.

Opening it will give you something that's either good neutral or bad.

For this turn i got something good.

this is a really cool system that helps spice things up a lot and there's a lot of them too! but what about that puppet guy he seams kinda sus

let's just... leave him for now and go do something else like the uh gilded enemies!

these guys are basically like shiny pokemon and are SUPER rare. there's one of them in each forest, the west forest having the gilded hawk tuah. anyway, time to go talk with Sara and head to the south forest.

We got the usual stuff like 3 types of enemies, coins everywhere, paths we can't get to yet, all that good stuff.

The enemies here are Porkchop from Porkchops horror show made by John Phisnom.

Candy the cat by John Emil macko and woodpecker by John.

I also got the gilded cat pretty fast so that was awesome.

The boss of this forest is none other than Foxy.

Just like Chica he has his own gimmick that being that every third strike he'll use his hook on you dealing MASSIVE damage.

so for Foxy, you can either try to kill him really, really fast with good rng, or try to just guard his attacks to live. either way, he will die, and you get the next key. just like Chica, there's another room right next to the fight with another one of those paths you can’t get to yet. onto the east forest.

This ones probably my favorite one because uh it's all white and i'm the whitebun yep.

Anyway the enemies here are twisted wolf chipper and Owen the ow.l

These guys are definitely my favorite set of enemies in the whole game i love them all, especially the wolf guy.

Anyway onto the boss who's Bonnie.

Bonnies gimmick is that you guessed it! every third turn he'll use his shovel to pull out an acorn from the ground and eats it to regain hp.....

HEY wait a minute, aren't acorns bad for buns? i have to check this out

AHA just as i thought

Bonnie then died due to food poisoning may god rest his soul Popgoes being the bitch ass mother fucker he is steals his precious key and finally opens the gates to the gulp DEAD forest.

The DEAD forest is scary as hell, everything's evil and dark the enemies are all dead and evil.

The music's sad and evil too, and it's all just so fucked up man, idk if i can handle this, there's also a lot of secret paths including this-

......one.....

that.... has to be a glitch right? right? ....... i swear i heard crying sounds from the game....

Also what the hell are the graves about? who put them there too many questions and zero answers.

The only way to find out more is to keep on playing.

Eventually we get to a bridge that's connected to a castle with something protecting it.

Now we've already seen Bonnie Chica and Foxy, so it would only make sense if this ones freddy righ- nope it's bb.

bb says that if we defeat him it'll activate some kinda kill switch that will bring everyone else back to life, and make them even stronger than before.

Unlike the other bosses bb doesn't have a special gimmick, you just have to kill him though.... when he reaches exactly 1hp he runs away and you win, huh, i wonder if we'll see him again.

Checking the castle door we realize that it's locked behind 3 more keys so uh time to head back to Sara!

Popgoes tells her everything that happened and she says that someone "friendly" came to ask pop to meet him at the shops must be urgent.

We head back to the west forest and wait a minute what the fuck why is everyone so much stronger now

So bb wasn't lying after all.... that son of a bitch, speaking of bb he's the one that wanted to meet us near a shop.

bb says that when Popgoes kicked his ass it knocked him to his senses and he became a good guy again.

bb says that the big boss man behind all this wanted to give bb his own gimmick too, but he denied him because he wanted a fair fight but he did end up stealing some of the upgrades the boss suggested and now wants to give them to popgoes.

But the only way to get these upgrades is to become a literal serial killer bruh.

Popgoes being the dirty bastard that he is agrees and starts his genocide route by wiping out all the monsters for xp so he could fight sans.

The west forest goes down easily and Popgoes gets the super speed turning him into sonic the hedgehog.

We get back to Chica to kick her ass one last time and...

oh my god bruh i was joking when i said we were gonna fight sans anyway chicas back and she's a lot harder now to the point i actually had to grind for her yes i'm being dead as but we still kill her and unlock her jump ability meaning we can finally jump over those huge holes to see what's on the other side

If we turn off the lasers enemies will stop spawning in the west forest, therefore it's saved! onto the next one

But first now that we have Chicas stupid jump thing there are multiple special coins all around the map.

You can use these coins to buy special upgrades from manora to help you out.

the first one being that you can now pick up fruit from the trees all around the map, so uh, free items! and the other one being you being able to jump in battles, avoiding attacks.

Popgoes then continues his murderous rampage in the south forest, killing everyone he sees... bb is very pleased and gives him the quick pocket upgrade, letting him use another turn for buff items. Foxy time.

He's pretty tuff to the point i had to go buy buffs for him thank you quick pocket you saved my ass...

Beating him lets us use his hook to turn off the lasers and use it for the water areas.

We have 2 new upgrade, now the first one being that we have a 100% of escaping from fights, and the second one is you being able to use the hook in battles to do lots of damage.

Popgoes finally ends his murderous rampage in the east forest and unlocks the spike shield which makes the shield buff spiky so that it hurts the bad guys, bb thanks us for doing this for him and as a reward gives us jukebox so that we can listen to the games banger ost.

But we don't have time to listen to good music we MUST murder sans Bonnie and get to the castle.

Thanks to the power of the almighty hook he goes down pretty easily and we unlock his shovel to turn off the final set of lasers.

We collect more emerald coins and use them to unlock the final set of upgrades, those being being able to use tunnels around the map to get the places quicker AND finally for the grand finally to use the shovel in a fight to get a random item both are pretty cool

also while exploring, i came across this well.

There's an emerald coin in it but idk i feel like something else is in it let's just let's have another look just to make sur-

oh.

Well uh.... yeah i don't feel comfy anymore let's just go to the castle and finish this.

Wow uh this place is kinda.... beautiful?

there's a lot of paintings here and there featuring real life animals and also some notes 5 to be exact

the first one is about the author talking about his fathers death and how he's tried his absolute best to read one of his books for now the castle is their home being king is uh not a fun experience (no shit)

on the second note the author is going full on schizo mode and thinks the painting are pointing something at him one of his fathers books

it was one of his earlier schizo stories about phantoms he was sure that creatures murdered by other creatures would come back to life as ghosts though dying naturally would just end the cycle but being killed by someone else ON purpose would give you another chance at life

on the third note the author is questioning their role as king nobody wants to talk with them and they don't really have much to say either all they do is just walk around eat something and water the plants but other than that no real purpose so he comes up with an idea to make his father proud everyone proud

on the fourth note the author thinks their father is still with them he had to have had a reason to write all of this he definitely wasn't insane he talked about how paranormal activities could mentally harm nearby entities as in being near a phantom could make you a bit crazy he used the word "corrupt" a lot but he never experimented with that kinda stuff at least the author doesn't think so

on the fifth and final note the author just says "i have an idea"

after walking for a while we reach the kings throne room

The benefits.... of being dead

no eating.

no drinking.

no sleeping.

it's a very peaceful life or afterlife.

Being dead is truly amazing popgoes....

WELCOME to the final boss against the monster behind it all king Freddy Fazbear himself.

Something you might instantly notice are the lasers, those are his main gimmick.

They'll flash 4 times and on the fourth time, it'll be either yellow or purple if you attack when it's purple you take HEAVY damage.

But if you hit it when it's golden HE'LL take damage.

You can also just beat him the normal way but like come on! take some risk in your life.

The music that plays here is a remix of toreador march and it sounds fucking amazing.

The boss fight isn't that hard it's actually kinda easy when you get used to it but you do have to be kinda locked in for it and have some items to help you out.

Even though Freddy ends up trying his best you still end up kicking his ass.

you have won.....

but on your last day on earth you'll regret you did yes, you will

when you succumb to a natural end.... and your body rots into the soil....

you would have wished you had.... the second chance...... i was going to ..... give... you....

wow uh.... that was weirdly deep popgoes doesn't say a word though he just goes back home with the others to celebrate

everything seams fine and normal until wait 99%?

but how????????? what did i miss i did literally everything is the game bugged? no that can't be it maybe there's a super secret final boss YEAH that's probably it that's-

it.... hang on is.... is the wall tweaking out?

OKAY YEP NOPE THE GAMES BUGGED LET'S JUST LEAVE

great so uh now we have a ghost key thing where do we use it i uh.... idk man maybe that little fountain thing AND HOLY SHIT IT ACTUALLY WORKED

our main goal right now is to just search the whole map for these little black pieces

picking them up gives creepy ass messages

getting all the pieces an putting them next to the fountain gives us a new objective we have to find her

there's just one last thing left and that's to beat freddy again and unlock the true 100% ending and there we go all done!

now because this is a fnaf game and we got the secret ending in it that means we're gonna get a secret cutscene

we see popgoes the animatronic come into the arcade room and slowly make his way to the 3d printer

overall i had a blast playing this game from the music to the art style to everything i fucking loved pretty much everything about it it's not only a good fnaf fangame but also a good rpg as a whole i don't wanna sound like i'm glazing too hard but re100%ing the game was a blast it get's a solid 9.5/10 from yours truly thanks for reading and i'll see yall underground where the machinist lives.....
