Post-release updates, thanks, and more!

Hello friends! It’s been a little bit since the initial release of the Platelle demo, and I’m back to give some updates on what comes next. Firstly, thank you to everyone who has played and shared this little game! Platelle has been an idea that has been a long  time coming. Back in 2021 it became playable for the first time, built in the Clickteam Fusion engine, which it would not stay in very long. It was slow, small, and I eventually decided that it just wasn’t right for Platelle (which didn’t have a name yet!)

But enough reminiscing, what’s next for Platelle? Well, first and foremost we’re dedicated to polishing and making sure that the demo is the very best it can be! We want to work on making it nicer, cleaner, and bug-free, so we’ve already started working on some new content and fixes. In the meantime, any help finding bugs or glitches would be greatly appreciated- The more issues that we can find and clear out, the better! In fact, any and all feedback on the game’s current state is something we greatly encourage you to do- the comments I’ve been reading (and even the odd gameplay video- awesome!) have been super helpful and we’re always looking for more to learn from.

Well that’s all for now, keep an eye out for that update- hopefully soon! We’ll be working on that, of course, in between planning for a larger scope expansion to the demo.

What you all think

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
