Progress on Arcade endings


As of today, 9 characters out of 16 have their arcade ending completed!
The endings for Johnson, Tiger, Shaz, Cyphr, Graf, Krave, Lejl, Renzo, and Elena are ready, 7 more to go!

The clone characters/costume swaps will also have a sort of ending: Blade and Harracido (Shaz) have a variation of Shaz’s ending, Metallic Mayer (Graf) has a personal twist on Graf’s ending.

The most important thing is… the endings will be (mostly) compatible with each other! That is, if you just change who has beaten the final boss, only a couple endings are mutually exclusive (usually, the “bad guys” endings).

I hope this will help making the narrative of the game more solid!

SCHWB v1.6 update is (slightly) delayed to middle of June, due to a couple other indie fighting games coming out at the end of May (thus avoiding a pile-up with them). Fanart submissions for the final release are still open!

Aaaand here's the final version, straight from the early '00s!

Renzo had a chronic lack of Mid strikes, so I decided to try my luck at giving him at least one with some approach and counter hit combo potential (not sure how good of an idea it is, will keep testing)

The impossible happened! Schwarzerblitz was featured at EVO 2022 in the Indie Showcase stream, so YES, let me repeat it, SCHWB WAS SHOWN AT EVO 2022!
