Hi guys. 1st off, I would like to apologize for the lack of updates. Real life problems got in the way. I quit my last job as retail stocker and my finances have been having issues. I've been doing some commissions to help and I've been sorta distracted with fanart. Thankfully I got a new job at warehouse as a package handler.
The other problem, is that I'm learning how to code. I'm taking courses on Udemy so I can understand and know how this works. Actually the prototypes I showed were based on the code I learned from Udemy. However what I used was something I learned a year ago and even with notes the code was too complicated, that's why I wanted to start over and see if I can learn another coding technique to make it easier for me.
This is the reason why I chose GameMaker because it's easy for beginners to use and learn. I tried other engines like Unity and ClickTeam, but I could never get a grasp of it. Anyways, I know it sounds silly doing this entire game by myself while learning how to code, but I'm really passionate about this project. And I truly believe that after I make the 1st level of the game, I'll have an idea of what I'm doing.
Anyways thanks for your patience, support and understanding. I'll have something new soon.
See you next time :)
