It's been a while since the last devlog. I've been very busy since the semester started but I'm still working on PM for a good chunk of the day.
I'll summarize the last two weeks in one word: rendering.
There's so much I want to show off but can't because it would ruin the surprise. Just looking at the screenshots doesn't do the game justice, there's so much more content than pictures could ever show.
PM obviously doesn't have the flashiest graphics or the most gravitas lore, but as I've been working on object descriptions, subtle easter eggs, etc. it makes me feel like there's a whole little world behind the screen.
I guess the best way to put it into words would be to say PM starts off as a FNaF game, but slowly becomes a strangely adorable world with a FNaF game woven into it. I've been packing the game with bonus content, so if you're into that kind of stuff you're in for a treat.
Beta testing has been on halt mostly because I haven't been able to put out a new version for my testers yet. Some of the stuff you see in the screenshots above is new to them, too. For the first time though I'm actually excited about having people play the game.
