Tales From An Oddity Shop

Progress was made and some setbacks occurred.

I am currently sketching the games visuals and they are going great so far. The characters and backgrounds are coming together nicely to my liking. Pretty soon I will work on the line art, coloring, and shading on Autodesk Sketchbook and share some previews in due time.

Sadly I won’t be getting into coding the first half of the game after though. Microsoft recently announced that, consumers who fail to update their Windows 10 computer’s/laptop’s software service are at risk of being hacked into,or worse, have malicious malware infect the user’s said computer/laptop.

Here’s an article to help better explain the situation.

I forgot to do these updates accordingly and tried to install them afterwards. But it seems like after I have waited hours upon hours,my laptop just gave up functioning completely and now it barely turns on. Needless to say,I have to save up money to buy a new one. Which might take a long time to do so.

This doesn’t mean I will cancel this project though. I’m determined to publish it. It’s just going to be delayed in some aspects. My digital drawings will be stored in a separate device, and I have saved Autodesk sketchbook on that same separate device too. I won’t be starting all over again. That’s good at least. I’m going to keep working on these drawings and screenplays in the meantime. I will keep updating these devlogs when I can if anything new happens during these stages. -M.G.

I updated the game’s logo what do you think?(Got to work more on this page’s presentation soon too.)

The first week of working on my game project has come and gone. It felt like a hasty week though.

Here's a little doodle of Kenny Omega I made awhile back.

Hey look,I finally got around to making a Twitter page.😅

Short update but here are some of the taxidermy animals I am making for the interior's background.

Here's some Muppets/Midsommar crossover pictures to have you chuckle for a bit. I got to redo Sven and Kermit/Fozzie when I get the chance.

Changed up my name and made a logo too. This little guy is based off of the Fresno Nightcrawlers btw.

Been doing my best to find a drawing app I can work with instead of MS Paint. Really loving Autodesk Sketchbook lately. The blending and coloring are AMAZING.

Here's a recent oil pastel portrait I made of Adam Driver.

Also here's a crossover drawing I made of Jacket/Richard as an Animal Crossing Villager.
