Project Rhythm has been cancelled.

Yes, you heard that right. I am no longer working on this game.

I just don't have the motivation to work on this game and I don't think this will be a sustainable project for me going forward. After all, this game was primarily intended to be an experiment for me to see what I could do. I never committed to finishing the game.

This does not mean I will remove the game from this site at some point. I understand the importance of preserving video games and so the game page will remain up for historical purposes. The game's source files will be released eventually.

With that being said, I appreciate you taking the time to read this. I hope you all understand that it's time for me to move on from this project. I did release one final song for the game, though, and it can be found here.

The Scratch Team has just recently updated their Terms of Service yesterday, letting you know they now have full permission to use your content to train AI models.

Your eyes aren't fooling you; the next Project Rhythm update will add widescreen support! Break free from Scratch's old 4:3 aspect ratio!
