ProjectKolo - Update 6-3-15

Been along time since last gave an update here, the project is still a go :)

One of the reasons for the delay is the convos been having with ppl on what they would like to see or wish it was…. so We are changing stuff :)

Project Kolo will now be a small scall OnLine RPG, while proboly not a MMORPG, but all depends on how well things go.

Some of you maye remember the old Plz Dont Shoot me we had on here awhile ago, testing a Server engine controls, so we already have alota the ‘Backend’ code part worked out.

So all the changes…..

Will be set on a OnLine RPG Envirment, ie you download the client, install, and connect to a server. There will be a Player Cap ‘Per World’ till we work out the details.

The first release of the pre beta test stage will hopefully be soon, but we will be limited it to only a few ppl while we slowly work on finetunning settings and streamlining code. The first version will be very very basic, to limit the download size and updates. Yes updates. It will include a Launcher, that will check for updates and update the client for you as needed.

The first run will have a few of the systems implemented, and others added along the way, the Weather system for example will be on hold while we work on streamlining code to make it more multiplayer friendly.

The layout will be generic and temp, we will be making it more ‘presentable’ as the development progresses.

Runestones: from concept to in-game model🗿

Family band complete!

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...

My D&D art for my family so far (WIP if you couldn't tell)

Cash Banooca

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
