Well, i thought that and i will add a new playable characther who has a sniper.Thanks for the question m9! :)

ThEClasHersITA:While I was fighting omega Chara I died at the part when you get attacked by the petals,and their all over the screen, before the Temmie attack I think, the Try again screen was not there and I had to restart the program. Not to stress you but u asked about bugs in 1.8 m8.

I thanks TheClasHersITA for finding this bug. I tested 1.8 3-4 times before releasing the update. I tried to fix the bug as i could unfortunately it was a unfixable bug i fixed a half of it though.If i tried to fix it the frame would be buggier. I would look foward to that bug in the future.1.9 Has a fixed version of it. Thanks TheClasHersITA for reporting a bug! :)
