Hello, happy 2026 everyone. Very late on an update. Let me try and make this brief.
BOIMS is nearing completion. I had the idea of Devlogging its progress as features were added, but I guess that didn't end up happening...oops.
As 2026 started, I got busy, losing time and motivation to work on my game properly. However, since it's supposed to be relatively small, it's getting to a state that I feel comfortable sharing. Though, a few technical bumps stand before me.
I am planning to release the first version before May, but I'm not making a promise here. And afterwards, I am going to take a break from it to focus on other things.
I plan to return to update BOIMS with new versions that add new features. I have about 4 versions in mind, but time will tell if any of them see the light of day...
And by "versions" I mean the same build, just...with new stuff. If I get them to work.
As for what the game will feature, at least in the first version:
Three Run Modes for different skill levels
Seven levels of varying difficulty
A replay ghost function to show your failed attempts or best runs (you decide)
Aspect ratios of 4:3, 16:10 and 16:9 (and other visual settings)
Movement options to change how the Runner moves (and more)
Hopefully, within the next few weeks, BOIMS will be available. Fingers crossed.
