Hello everybody. My name’s Markiplier, and welcome to Swing Shift at Farley’s, a new indie-horror game that you guys suggested en masse. I saw that Bun played it, and he said it was really, really good, so I’m very eager to see what is up. And that… is a terrifying animatronic bear.

Anyway, jokes aside, welcome to Swing Shift at Farley's! A pretty unique fnaf 1 reimagining that came out recently. As usual, yours truly will go through all the main nights of the game and give my honest thoughts on it. Without a further ado, let's start a new game and start our swing shift at Farley's!

Something really little that I really love is the fact the animatronic band actually have a band name. That's really cool. Anyway, here's our amazing office.

We have two doors on our side and a fuse box behind us.

We can also LEAVE the office, but i'll talk about that later. And finally we have the cams.

We get our very first phone call by the games phone guy, Ralph.
He does the usual phone-guy stuff of telling us about the shitty company-notice thing that was also in fnaf 1. Blah blah blah, you already know what it means.
Now let's talk about it the actual important thing threats.
The chances of someone actually breaking into a place like this to steal stuff is basically zero. What you should be scared of are the animatronics, because you guessed it they move around at night.
Tonight only Basil bunny and Charlie chicken will start moving.

They'll go to your closest cams being 9 and 10.

When ever they leave said cams just close the door till you hear them knock on it.
The problem is that, because of how advanced the doors are, they break the fuses really easily. Meaning that when they run out, you have to go to the supply closet and do a little minigame to get new fuses.

Just make sure you ONLY go there when you know you're safe, cause if you go there when one of them is there, you're fucked! That should be all for tonight. Have a great day.
Overall, night 1 is pretty easy. It does its job of explaining stuff to you pretty well. I'll say having cam usage from the start is pretty nice too.
The lil minigame you do to get fuses is kinda annoying but super satisfying to do. I don't have much else to say, so onto night 2!
We now have a vent thing.

Ralph calls again, surprised that we bothered coming back. Turns out most people don't wanna work at a place like this, shocker I know. But anyway, we got some new big boy threats active tonight.
The first one being Florence fox.

He's locked up in a cage on the left stage. He used to be on the right stage and was actually the most popular character at the diner, but uh… things happened and they had to lock him away.
He works just like normal Foxy: just keep a good balance between watching and not watching him. When he's gone, he'll go to either the left or right door. Simply close it to make him go away.
Now onto the other threat Dominick dog.

He's the easiest character in the whole game. Basically, he'll go inside the vents, so you have to constantly check the vent above you. When you hear any sounds, go to Cam 1 and charge up the heater to make him leave. That's about it. See you on the flipside.
And yeah, that was Night 2 overall definitely more fun than Night 1. Again, cam usage is always nice, and I love the new characters active, especially Florence. When was the last time you saw a character be trapped inside a cage, hmm? Anyway, onto Night 3.
Ralph calls us again congratulating us for making it this far. We got a new freak to deal with tonight Whitney wolfgang.

She has this weird glitch that makes her super twitchy around bright lights. Now that we have a flashlight in our office, we know exactly what to do. Just remember: she can go to all the entrances in the office, including the vent. So if she leaves one of the cams connected to the office, go to that side and shine your light on her.

Just remember that the battery drains SUPER fast, but you can charge it up in the cameras in one specific cam only. Why? Because fuck you, that's why. Anyway, keep up the good work.
And yeah, that was night 3. Again, pretty cool stuff. Whitney is definitely my favorite character in the whole game I love her. Also, more cam usage YES YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I fucking love using my cams; cams are so awesome y’all. Onto night 4!
we now have a little notebook along with a marker and an eraser

Ralph is super pleased with our work and even says he might give us some extra cash at the end of the week.
Anyway, we’ve got one last threat to deal with: Farley Fazbear himself. (ignore the youtube thing)

The biggest problem with him is that you straight up can’t see him in the cams; however, he laughs every time he moves. He’ll laugh five times before getting to your right door, which is why you have the notebook to mark how many times he’s laughed. Again, at the fifth laugh, close the right door. That’s… really it, lol.
Night 4 is when the game starts to get pretty challenging. Now that everyone’s active, you must lock the fuck in, because even one tiny mistake can screw you over really hard. But despite that, the game remains very fun and fair. Don’t have much else to say so, onto night 5.
Let's listen to the phone cal-

Oh..... they killed my boy Ralph.....
no one new becomes active this night so time to give my honest thoughts on the gameplay and it's..... pretty great! everyone works together super well the mechanics are pretty unique like again what are game has a notebook in it where you count the characters laughs the lore stuff is pretty neat i suppose and finally the fuse mechanic is super satisfying to do i love it
don't got much else to say so let's check if night 6 adds anything new
oh yeah we also get our first paycheck

again no one new becomes active but we do get a weird distorted phone call that's about it really but there's one thing i've been wanting to show since the start....
see in the closet there's a newpaper on the ground and if you click on it you'll get gulp SECRET LORE

there's probably one more of these but i couldn't get it to appear so sad so very sad anyway these are pretty neat i suppose
we get our last paycheck and just like that the games over!

overall i had a pretty fun time playing farleys i already said all the stuff i liked about the game already so i'm not gonna repeat myself but yeah game good it gets a solid 8/10 from the bun solar IS making a sequel to the game and you bet i'm gonna be talking about it when it comes out but until then thanks for reading and i'll see yall on the flipside ciao!
