Wanted to give a quick run down on how things are going since it's been 10 months since the last post.
STORY:
The basic timeline of the story is 100% thought out from start to finish, now I am currently beginning to transform it into a proper script that can be used for the game.
ART:
Rooms for The Caverns section of Area 1 are complete. Now focus is currently going into the intro cutscene on the surface before going any farther with Area 1. Also certain character designs were created.
MUSIC:
No new music has been made yet, it is currently not the main focus until the actual game is far enough into development.
GAME:
Creating the engine is currently the main priority before anything else, and so far a whole lot of the overworld systems have been implemented. Things like the battle system, c button menu, and cutscenes are still being worked on however.
Thank you for your patience with this project. Hopefully next post I can show actual footage of the game, if things go smoothly enough.
