Quick update again (so much for more frequent posts)

So the game is not in very active development but some things are improving...

One of many little things I added was an animation for landing on Rocket Blocks and Level End Buttons. Speaking of animations, I thought up a way to add in stepping sounds and it worked!

(involved cutting the running cycle into multiple animations and playing a sound when one had ended)

When you start a new game, you'd get a selection of game modes with a few features shown.

And some code optimization, I guess.

Hopefully at some point I'll get a surge of motivation to really push development forward.

So I can make profile posts? Neat. Lately, I've focused on Midbyte's sequel, "Into Another World", but active development hasn't started yet, so a Devlog is not available. Stay tuned, I guess.

So has there been any progress?

Well, yes but actually no.

Progress has been slow but I think it's going forward...

art comission.

Another house i made long time ago.

Runestones: from concept to in-game model🗿

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Spaaaace~

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

Drawn in Piskel using my mouse. Whaddya think?
