Quick Update On DUCN 1.3


I know I said that DUCN 1.3 would come out in the summer but... there's still stuff to do. Although, I will give a progress update.

All the character's programming are finished and have been for about 2 months now. I have been doing loads of balance changes to make a fun and balanced fight. I've have been doing the skins for a while and I'm nearly done with them. The most I have to do now is Mom Spider which is pretty going to take a while to animate because I hate doing 2D animation (despite me loving the craft). I have used the "puppet" system built into unity and it's great but it can't get me through everything. I have finished a lot of other cosmetics programmed in and I just now need to draw them.


Another major thing that's kind of holding me back from releasing DUCN 1.3 is the Extras Menu and Endless Night. I know I can release later on and drop the game sooner but (and I'm going to be real with you) I want them to be in the game on release rather than needing to update the game further.


Another thing I want to make sure is that the game isn't buggy beyond hell on release. I've seen some pretty bad releases over the years to what would be great games and I don't think I need to remind you all about how rough the Granny games and The Twins on Android are now.


With that being said how much longer will DUCN 1.3 be in development? I extremely doubt that it release during Christmas since there's not too much to do now but don't count on it. My best guess is October, but take it with a grain of salt. When I actually do have a concrete release date, I will post a trailer on my channel around a week before release.
